2. Service Description

Transcribe AI provides automated audio and video transcription services through WordPress integration. The Service includes:

  • Audio/video file transcription using AI technology
  • Multi-language transcription support
  • Translation services via integrated APIs
  • Export functionality in various formats
  • Speaker identification and editing capabilities

3. User Accounts and Tiers

3.1 Account Types

The Service offers four user tiers:

  • Guest Users: 30 minutes/month, no saving capability
  • Registered Users: 90 minutes/month, 7-day transcript retention
  • Basic Users: 1,200 minutes/month, 90-day transcript retention
  • Premium Users: Unlimited transcription, unlimited retention

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Usage Limitations

4.1 File Size Limits

  • Guest Users: 50MB maximum file size
  • Registered Users: 100MB maximum file size
  • Basic Users: 500MB maximum file size
  • Premium Users: 5GB maximum file size

4.2 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload copyrighted content without authorization
  • Use the Service for illegal or harmful purposes
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Upload malicious files or code
  • Use automated systems to abuse the Service

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for providing transcription services.

5.2 Service Content

All Service materials, including software, design, and documentation, are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Data Retention

Transcripts are automatically deleted based on your account tier:

  • Guest Users: No saving capability
  • Registered Users: 7 days
  • Basic Users: 90 days
  • Premium Users: No automatic deletion

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with:

  • AssemblyAI for transcription
  • DeepL for translation
  • OpenAI for AI summaries
  • Cloudflare R2 for storage

Use of these features is subject to the respective third-party terms of service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • 100% transcription accuracy
  • Uninterrupted service availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Compatibility with all file formats

9. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business interruption.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms or any reason at our discretion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
